ROBERT A. LORELLI

Robert A. Lorelli is the president of Robert Lorelli Associates, Inc. He is a Mechanical Engineer and has one of the most diversified backgrounds in theater. He worked as a Chief Engineer for one of the largest theater equipment manufacturers in the world. There he was responsible for the design, manufacture and installation of various theatrical equipment systems and movable structures for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts; the San Francisco Civic Auditorium; Theatro Nacional de Cuba; the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; as well as the Chrysler, IBM, Dupont and Texas Pavilion at the last New York Worlds Fair. He was also the Director of Operations for the New York City Center of Music and Drama.

After 25 years as a partner of the firm of Brannigan • Lorelli Associates, Inc., Robert Lorelli opened his own office in 1991. Robert Lorelli Associates, Inc. offers services in feasibility studies, project development, design, management, operation, and programming for performing arts facilities. Among its projects are: The North York Performing Arts Centre - North York, Canada, The University of Florida Performing Arts Center -Gainesville, Florida; Church of The Holy Apostles - New York, New York; The Carolina Theatre - Durham, North Carolina; Auditorio de Convenciones - Tuxtla, Mexico; Okaloosa  • Walton Community College Instructional Arts Center - Niceville, Florida; Broward Community College Arts Center - Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Place des Arts - Montreal, Quebec; Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga, New York; Benedum Center for the Performing Arts - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Carnegie Hall - New York, New York and The Bob Carr Performing Arts Center, Orlando, Florida.

He is a member of The American Society of Theater Consultants and the League of Historic American Theaters. He lectures at both the Society for College and University Planning and Harvard University and is an Adjunct Professor at the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York.

PETER BORCHETTA

A graduate of Providence College, Peter Borchetta has an extensive list of credentials in the theatrical field. He has had experience as a lighting and sound designer, and as a technical director. Currently, he is the technical director, lighting designer and theatrical instructor to The Olmstead Theatre, Adelphi University, Garden City, New York.

At Robert Lorelli Associates, Inc. Peter is the lighting and sound systems designer. He is presently working on a several performing arts facilities including: a 30,000 seat amphitheater for the Expo '98 in the Philippines, the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center - Westhampton, NY, The Fine Arts Seismic Center at the University of California-Riverside, and the Syosset Performing Arts Center - Syosset, NY. Some of his lighting credits include: Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf - Adelphi University, Garden City, NY; Providence College Diamond Jubilee - Providence College, R.I.; Babes In Arms - Miami University, Oxford, Ohio; Twelfth Night - Adelphi University, Garden City, NY; and Julian J. Studley Summer Outing - Waldorf Astoria, New York, NY.

He has received the ACTF Lighting Design Award, as well as the Historical Preservation Society Architectural Design Award. He is a member of Theata Alpha Phi, the National Theater Arts Fraternity and is a Black friar's Fellowship Recipient.

PAUL LeDOUX

Paul LeDoux began his career in Theatrical Rigging Design while working as a Design Engineer for Joseph Vasconcellos, Inc., one of the Worlds largest Theatrical Rigging Manufacturers. While at Joseph Vascocellos, Paul was responsible for the design and supervision of installation of rigging and lift systems in many theaters throughout the world. Some of the projects he worked on include: Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts; Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; Queens College Art Center; San Francisco Civic Auditorium; Birmingham Center for the Arts and The Albany Mall.

At Robert Lorelli Associates, Inc., Paul is responsible for the rigging design and lifts systems. He has worked on the following facilities: The North York Performing Arts Centre - North York, Canada; The University of Florida Performing Arts Center -Gainesville, Florida; The Carolina Theatre - Durham, North Carolina; Auditorio de Convenciones - Tuxtla, Mexico; Okaloosa • Walton Community College Instructional Arts Center - Niceville, Florida; Place des Arts - Montreal, Quebec; Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga, New York; Benedum Center for the Performing Arts - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and The Bob Carr Performing Arts Center, Orlando, Florida.

THOMAS TSUE

Thomas Tsue was Assistant Chief Architect of the Fire and Court Facilities and Special projects before joining Robert Lorelli Associates, Inc. He was responsible for overseeing approximately six (6) architects. He oversaw the preparation of programs, design, the production of construction documents and specifications, and reviewing shop drawings and change orders.

At Robert Lorelli Associates, Inc., Tom works on design, architectural planning, engineering design and construction supervision work for performing arts facilities. Among some of the projects he has worked on are: the George Street Playhouse - New Brunswick, New Jersey; the Philadelphia Performing Arts Center - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Lakewood Center - Lakewood, Colorado; Westhampton Performing Arts Center - Westhampton, New York and Theater Three - Port Jefferson, New York.
